This early example of an alarm was presented For Champion Sales Management Performance - November-December 1955 - Henry Ford II. The dial has the Ford logo factory emblem at twelve. These were given out one time in 1955. The watches featured a fully mechanical alarm system. To pull off this difficult task, Jaeger-LeCoultre equipped these watches with significant inner alarm gearing and even an additional stem and crown, making elements of a second movement that worked seamlessly in conjunction with the normal timing portion. This example is all original, and shows some light patina to the dial. The case is 10k gold filled, and measures 34mm in diameter.
Watch is running and keeping time, and the alarm function is working, but I have no idea on this watches service history. PS: Beware of other sellers who sell redialed variants, or ones that have Memovox / Wrist Alarm triangular centers, as they never came that way from factory for this particular model.
