1956 JAEGER-LECOULTRE Vintage Large Mens "Waterproof" Watch - 18K Gold. Our photos just couldn't do it justice. At 35mm in diameter not including the crown and 43mm long, this full size beauty looks great on the wrist. With a classic silver dial, beautiful 18K gold case with screw back, and superior caliber 10 lignes P800 movement with shock resistance, its showcases the quality and gorgeous design one expects from JLC.

The P800, a fairly uncommon engine, also served as the basis for LeCoultre wonderful "Calendar Date" push-button crown watches for the U. Market, which we have two examples of for sale as of this writing. The case is wonderfully thin and unlike many of JLC's dress watches from the era, it was originally waterproof and has a screw-down back. We don't recommend getting a vintage watch wet - and really don't recommend showering or diving with it - even one that was originally designed to be waterproof. Wait until you see how big the box is that your watch is coming in!
