This listing is for a running vintage JAEGER LECOULTRE CALIBER 470 MAN'S MILITARY WRIST WATCH. This one comes from the estate of a WW2 pilot & comes with his HAT BADGE. He flew in the South Pacific in the island hopping campaign of WW2.
The watch looks beautiful on the wrist... Looks like a million dollars peeking out from under the cuff. The aviator who owned this flew the P47 Thunderbolt. This was the biggest single seat fighter plane in WW2.
The jug they called it. Each wing had 4 huge 50 caliber machine guns. Circling in on a target on the ground, the P47 could turn it to Swiss cheese in about 3 seconds. This one could be a very collectible timepiece.. Read the comments from recent customers. You KNOW you want the watch..
