ANOTHER SUPERB AND EXTREMELY RARE VINTAGE JAEGER LECOULTRE WATCH FIND FROM ANTIQUETIMEONLINE! A BEAUTIFUL C1943 ORIGINAL JAEGER LECOULTRE R. F 6B/159 AIRCREW WRISTWATCH IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. WITH A SUPERB CAL 470 100% GENUINE JAEGER LECOULTRE MOVEMENT. A WATCH FOR THE MILITARY COLLECTOR, OR THE JAEGER LECOULTRE ENTHUSIAST.

CASE: This is a stunning, and beautiful chromed and stainless steel two piece snap back watch case. The outside of the case has a serial number of 161121. The case is in EXCELLENT condition for its advanced years showing some light wear to the chromed parts of the case and and 2 small chips to the chrome near to one lug.

The case may have been re-chromed some time ago. It has its 6B/159 number on the caseback and issue number A26392 which is nice and crisp. The case has a nice lustre. The stainless case back has NO dings and just some light wear marks as you would expect. The case measures 3.2cms (32mm) across excluding the crown.

This is a stunning and beautiful QUALITY JAEGER LECOULTRE MILITARY watch case. DIAL: This is an absolutely lovely, and most importantly totally original correctly and fully signed M. This dial is in excellent condition for its age showing only a few spots and a noticeable mark near the dial center. The dial is FULLY signed "JAEGER- LE-COULTRE".

This dial is absolutely correct for the watch and is the 1956 later redial by the British M. It has black painted raised Arabic numerals bordered by a black painted minute track which are in excellent condition. The beautiful'dagger' style blued steel minute, hour and centre second hands are in excellent condition. This is a really lovely dial in excellent original condition.

The crystal is in lovely condition showing only light wear. MOVEMENT: This is a beautiful and absolutely genuine JAEGER LECOULTRE FULLY SIGNED HI GRADE BEAUTIFULLY GILDED CAL 470 manual wind movement WITH STUNNING GENEVA STRIPING and chaton set jewels. This movement would have been hand made in the Jaeger LeCoultre workshops by a master craftsman.

It has a beautiful finish and is FULLY signed'JAEGER LECOULTRE' on the top plate in a beautiful typesetting, showing its true Jaeger roots. There is a caliber number of 470 stamped under the balance. The watch winds smoothly and sets with ease. It is in full working condition and has nice quiet operation. As usual a full service would be recommended for optimum performance.

The watch is keeping great time as tested over a 24 hour period. The stainless crown is unsigned looks genuine to the watch, and is in excellent condition showing slight normal wear. This is a new 16MM grey NATO style band. It has NOT been worn, and is in excellent condition. This band will fit up to an eight and a half inch wrist comfortably.
