LeCoultre is one of the most iconic luxury watch brands in the world! It is not as famous as Omega, IWC, or Audemars Piguet, but people who know vintage watches really value and appreciate the brand due to their meticulous attention to detail, the perfection of their movements, and beauty and durability of their cases.

Many luxury watch brands have, in the past, and some still do, use LeCoultre movements. A Lecoultre watch is about understated complications and sophistication. This particular LeCoultre watch is signed four times - case back, dial, movement, and crown.

This is your probably dress? We were unable to date the watch due to a lack of references available.

The serial # is 1,690,615. And inside the case back is 2,970,493.

The watch is 33mm and is 10K Gold-Filled. The crown has the original company logo. The high points on the logo have worn off, but you can still read it. The dial probably dates this watch to the 60's or 70's because it is pretty groovy - look at the close dial photos we took without the crystal.

Because of the surface of the dial, the watch displays different hourglass type reflections when its moved. The K 490/CW is in fabulous condition, especially for a dress watch. Date of last service is unknown but it is running very well and keeping great time. The movement has beautifully designed plates - striped damasceening. The case back has some minor scratches - please see our very up close picture - definitely does not effect the value of the watch.
